Flash in the Pan Paydirt is a family-owned and operated business based near California’s Gold country that offers a variety of products for Prospecting at Home. Our business started first, from our love of Gold and prospecting. Second, to give our sons an after-school job while providing them lessons in business, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship. We fell in love with Paydirt and enjoyed the fact with Paydirt we could prospect at home anytime of the day.
Flash in the Pan sources its base Paydirt from Gold Rich deposits in Wyoming, Oregon, Nevada, and of course California. There is naturally occurring Gold in our Paydirt. We also add Gold to ensure panning fun, enjoyment, and recovery of investment for prospectors of all skill levels. The most unique attribute of our Paydirt is not only the amount of Gold we guarantee but the size of the Gold we add. Our products contain a sizable percentage of nuggets and pickers. Most range from 4-10 mesh. We hear from our customers over and over that our Gold amounts are fairly high, and our Paydirt is incredibly fun to pan. Our Placer Gold
Placer Gold is a term that refers to Gold found in secondary deposits. Typically, Gold occurs in lode deposits. However, the weathering of the hard rock and action of rivers, streams, and glaciers over thousands of years have carried the fine Gold nuggets and particles and deposited them somewhere else away from the original lode deposit, in most cases, along riverbeds or in creeks. The Gold found in these secondary deposits is what is termed as Placer Gold.
Gold occurs naturally in our Paydirt. We also add Gold from Alaska, Nevada, Wyoming, and The Yukon to our products. Our Gold ranges from 18k to 22k purity. We are known for including some of the largest Gold you will find in the Paydirt industry. Due to the rarity of Placer Gold, it sells for a market premium. Larger nuggets sell well above the current 24k spot price based on immense collectability.
